browsers welcome to browsers! browsers is an app dedicated to bringing all walks of people together. whether you're looking to build a friendship, network your business, or find someone to spend a little one on one time with, this app is made for you!

community the community is a post-covid slice of life and faux hyrbid combo set in los angeles, california. our goal is to create a community where members can come together to interact while creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

setting up usernames both ic and ooc usernames are allowed. we just request no excess numbers or letters.

character information doesn't have to be substantial. 100 (minimum) words on their history or personality, as well as the basics: name, age, occupation, hometown, where they live now, et cetera.

an in character and out of character post is needed. you should be familiar with what both of these are. please backdate both and make sure we can see them both when you apply.

credits we are a single credit community, meaning if you choose to give your character credits, you are picking their entire body of work. please make sure to make note of the credits somewhere in your biography. credits must follow the five (5) year rule in order to be allowed. need more clarity? check out our faq.

intros after you've been accepted, you'll have 72 hours to post an introduction to develop. in order for your introduction to be marked off as complete, you will have to respond to at least half of the comments. failure to do so may result in you being removed.

updates the activity cycle starts on the first of every month and ends on the last day, during this time each member will be required to update their journal at least two (2) times. one of which should be interactive (instagram, playlist, lyrics, etc.) and the other is up to each member. we ask that any interactive post (with comments enabled) has at least 50% of the comments replied to. all updates must be visible on the friends page in order to count toward activity and must be turned in to the activity dropbox.

interacting communities are only as great as their members and we hope to promote a positive, interactive experience. please make sure to comment around on the friends page, post in pbads looking for new members, and participate when possible.

extensions & hiatus we understand that life can sometimes become hectic and that updating may seem like a lot so we are always willing to grant exentions and hiatuses when requested. in order to ask for one, simply comment our members only post.

browsers we ask that you keep your browsers post backdated and off the friends page. we do, however, have a community to post links to your post. joining it is completely optional.

wire & discord we want browsers to be a friends page and journal oriented community, which means please make sure to comment intros, be active in customs and make everyone feel wanted and welcome. we understand the convenience of using wire or discord, but not everyone can have them. if you want to use it, we get it, but use it at your own risk because we reserve the right to remove anyone that exclusively uses wire. if you're never commenting intros, interactive posts, plot posts or making new connections ic we're just going to assume. so please make sure to put the friend's page first!
